Due to the Pandemic, we are NOT flying indoors for the 20/21 season

During the colder months when it is too cold to fly outside, some of us have been flying indoor models.   Last year we flew in the five Flags Arena, this year we are in the Peosta Community Centre. 

Generally we fly every other week for a 2 hour period on a Sunday evening (7 - 9 pm) for a season of 8 - 10 sessions.   See the calendar for the 2019 - 2020 schedule.

There is an additional fee involved with the indoor flying because we have to rent the facility on an hour basis.  This year it is $50 per person for the season.   Walk-ins are welcome and have a $10 per evening charge

Indoor models are all electric and generally in the range of .8 - 2 ounces weight.   Experts can manage a larger aircraft, but they are generally too fast for comfort in the enclosed, low ceiling area.   They are also hazardous to the smaller lighter aircraft as collisions DO occur!
