Learn to Fly with the Tri State ModelersDo you want to learn to fly a Radio Controlled (R/C) airplane? If so, you are not alone. First and foremost, we recommend training by an experienced R/C pilot regardless of your background in aviation. Even if you fly the real thing commercially or privately, you are no longer "in the seat" and need to learn a new way of flying. The problem is one of orientation ... when the airplane passes from your right to your left, when the wing closest to you drops, it is the LEFT wing ... but when passing left to right, the closest wing is the RIGHT wing! And, depending on the speed of the aircraft, things can happen very quickly!
We highly recommend the use of any of the newer computer based training programs. They have vastly improved in the past few years and are quite effective. We offer guidance in all phases of the hobby.
